Unplug and Explore: 8th Graders of SMP Bilingual Terpadu Camping at Tanjek Wagir

At 19^th -20^th of may, 2025, all students of eight grade had a camping in Tajek Wagir, Krembung, Sidoarjo They left there by cars belong to army, garnisun car. Some teachers also joined with them. They left there at 7.30 and arrived there at 8.45. They were so happy because they could get out from school and college. They sang a beautiful song on the cars.

After arrived there, they had first outbound with the talented trainers. They were so enthusiasm because the outbound made them happy. They had first outbound for about three hours. And then, they had a break just a moment to have lunch and pray Dzuhur together. After having lunch and praying, they continued to have the second outbound. The second outbound finished until 3 P.M. Then, they took a shower to clean their body from the mud and prayed Ashar.

And then, they prepared to pray Maghrib. While they were waiting for Maghrib prayer, they bought some foods and drinks around the camp. There were many sellers there. They could choose many kinds of foods and drinks they wanted. They sold pop mie, fried fries, frozen foods, pop ice, coffee, tea, and other foods. They enjoyed their meal with their friends in  a rainy time. Suddenly it’s time to pray Maghrib prayer that led by Gus Aji, recited holy Quran, and continued with speech. He gave some motivation and inspiration to the students. He was calm when gave the speech. And the next speech was delivered by Mr. Saiful Anshori, S.Pd. as the principal of SMP Bilingual Terpadu.

After speech, they had dinner and prepared for their performance . the representative of each class had to perform one their performance. There were dance, sing a song, and drama. They enthusiasm to perform it. And in the end of performance, it was announced the winner. The best performance from boys achieved by Eight D that performed drama. They performed seriously and cooperatively. And for the best performance from girls achieved by Eight G that performed  a beautiful dance. The performance ended at 12 PM. After that they went to their tent theirselves to make a beautiful dream.

In the second day, they woke up at 3 AM to pray Tahajud and Subuh together. And then they went to the yard to have English and Arabic vocabulary. And then continued to have a gym. After that they walked around  together. They looked the left and right side. There were many sugar plants and the rice field there. On the way, they talked many things with their friends and took a photo. After that, they had to come back to the yard to have breakfast together. The chief of each tents took some rice boxes for their friends.

After having breakfast, they had to clean their tent before going home and also take a shower. They prepared to leave the area. After all of them were ready, they got on the garnisun car to go to Mbah Jebres to have lunch together. After they reached Mbah Jebres, they had to make a line to get their lunch. The view was so excited there, so that they didn’t want to loose the moment to take a photo. The teachers also took a photo to enjoy the beautivel view. The place for girls and boys area was different, but they got the same menu. The menu was so delicious there. They enjoyed their meal together.

After having lunch in Mbah Jebres, they went to buy Klepon in Bulang, Prambon. It was so famous because of the taste. Some of them bought coconut ice for their drink. After that they got on the garnisun car to go to school.

Eventhough they looked tired, but they looked so happy because they got many experiences from the camp. It was unforgottable moment they had.
